In this Numerology 1-9 Series, my focus is on sharing how the month ahead and the Numerology of the month’s Energy is represented and what we may experience being the positive aspects as well as the challenges that we may face during this time, giving us an insight on how this can be useful knowledge as we go into the month.

The Energy of the Month May known as the “Green Month” represents fertility, growth, manifestation and transformation, being a vibrant time to bring intentions to fruition. We also celebrate The Celtic Month of May commonly known as “Beltane” or May Day, which is on the 1^st May, but as the Celtic day traditionally begins at sunset, festivities often begin on the evening of April 30th, known as May Eve.

This marks the beginning of Summer (the "light half" of the year) being the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, and is a Month rich in cultural heritage which still includes the lighting of large "need-fires" or bonfires on hills to protect cattle and people, decorating homes with yellow flowers (like marigolds and primroses), and creating "May Bushes" and “Maypoles”, as well as performing rituals for protection, fertility and Community.

The Energy of the Month of May is about the need for freedom, adventure, adaptability, being a dynamic force for change, personal independence, and the desire for new experiences. It also focuses on fruitfulness, multiplication, and vibrant growth, acting as a peak time to connect with nature's vitality.

May is often dedicated to the “Virgin Mary”, and the connection to the divine Feminine, encouraging devotion and maternal nurturing and in many Countries there is the Celebration of “Mother’s Day”.

Taurus Personality

The Month of May represents the Astrology Sign Taurus and is influenced by the Element Earth and ruled by Venus, they are known for being dependable, practical, patient, and lovers of comfort, food, and luxury. As a "fixed" sign, they are loyal, grounded and sustaining, focusing on building long-term security, manifesting wealth but with the appreciation of living life through the senses.

Taurean’s are also famously known for their stubbornness and resistance to change, which is where the term being “bull headed” comes into play, finding it hard to budge once a decision has been made by them, which is a challenging trait to work with, especially if there is the need for compromise or when in a relationship.

Number Five Personality in Numerology

The Number 5 personalities in Numerology are great communicators, using their “gift of the gab” ability to be able to talk to anyone. They have a core desire for personal freedom and a life filled with movement, travel, and novel experiences, finding it hard to settle down in one place or committing themselves to a relationship due to this desire which can be misunderstood and challenging to a partner especially when in a relationship with them.

They are quick-minded, intelligent, and generally do well in business due to entrepreneur skills, having the knack to bridge cultures and ideas, using their charm and persuasive manner by communicating with confidence, but they do have the tendency to talk too much and spin a long story, never getting to the point quickly and although great communicators they may find it difficult to discuss and be open to express their deep feelings and emotions openly.
